About The Guide
The Amateur Radio Guide To Events and Clubs For Amateur Radio Operators Of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, Canada was first released in 2023. This guide attempts to document both a calendar of local activities as well as profiles of local clubs for new, returning, and seasoned Amateur Radio Operators in the National Capital Region and surrounding environs.
As the author, I found that while I would learn of local events by attending club meetings, many events were announced close to the actual date which limited my ability to plan around family obligations. I hope that by capturing some of the key local events in my area that other operators and I can plan our own operating calendar for the year.
Most of the content found in this guide was gathered from various web resources and reproduced here for educational and reference purposes. I am in the process of trying to validate and update the information in this guide.
